Kelly Kimpton is a stay-at-home mom of two wonderful boys Evan and Myles and the CEO/President/Creator of LunchHugs’® Creative Cards For Kids. LunchHugs® began as a search in earnest to find fun cards for her children.
“Did I get any mail?” “How come you get all the letters?” “Mommy is there one for me?” Sound familiar? Well, in my home, I heard the same questions every time I went to the mailbox. Kids love getting cards and it doesn’t matter if it’s a parent, a teacher, a grandparent or a postal carrier delivering one, the joy is there.
Like so many other moms I started to put notes in my son’s lunches, but I have to admit, mornings in my house can be a bit crazy and coming up with something original every day became a challenge. I had to face it, my stickman holding out its’ arms proclaiming I love you this much was losing its’ appeal. With my son’s inspiration, numerous ideas and endless jokes I decided to create LunchHugs®. Now I could send my boys a joke to make them laugh, a card that let them know I was thinking about them or a fun fact that they could share with their friends. My days may be crazier now trying to run a company and a household, but in truth, my mornings are maybe the easiest part of my day.
It is my sincere hope that LunchHugs® Creative Cards for Kids will be a fun and easy way to give your child a little extra love and laughter in their day.
